FAQ

Vertical clay tile modern home

Contemporary or Modern Design.

Modern or Contemporary design is one of the most popular design styles for 2021.  Clean sharp lines, open spaces and an emphasis on minimalism.  Concrete and Clay tile are perfect for both interior or exterior use.

Plana Gable Rake

Tile Size & Installation.

These tiles are perfectly flat, have a smooth surface, sharp edges and at least 3/4″ of an inch of thickens.  18” in length by 12.5” in width gives the tile a large size presence on the roof.

Interlocking flat roofs can be installed either directly to the roof deck or on battens depending on the design and building codes where installed.  A batten installation does offer the benefits of an insulating air space which increases the homes energy efficiency.

Vertical Flat Tile

Vertical Installation.

Our roof tiles aren’t just for traditional pitched roof surfaces where they create clean crisp lines both horizontally and vertically.  Our interlocking tiles can also be installed vertically.

A vertical installation can be used as part of interior accent wall, exterior cladding for homes or buildings with flat roofs.  The possibilities are almost endless.

Vertical Diamond Tile

Roof Tiles for Interior Use.

Looking for something unique and cutting edge to wow your
clients and customers?  Consider using roof tiles vertically as a wall
covering.  One of our clients used the diamond flat interlocking roof tile as an interior wall covering with great success.
